Hands

They are as full of expression as our faces, able to convey any emotion or mood: love, anger, tenderness or aggression. It takes years of training, fitness and talent for a ballet dancer to tell a story in dance yet we have all acquired those skills innately and use them every day in the language of our hands. I am fascinated by what our hands 'say' and how they tell it and in these images I have sought to encapsulate particular moods and feelings. Some are humorous, some tender and some a bit cheeky - but then that is Life, or at least the happier side of it.
